Spent Xmas at this hotel and loved it! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town square with lots of holiday activities. The breakfast spread was amazing, with a selection of meats, cheeses, and fresh pastries. We especially enjoyed the hot cocoa station with all the toppings. The hotel also had a cozy fireplace in the lobby, which was perfect for snuggling up with a book and a hot drink.
That our room was a bit on the small side, but it was still comfortable and had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi was also a bit spotty, but we were able to connect in the lobby.

Heading down the scenic Romantische Strasse, we found a lovely family-run hotel just outside of town, only a short drive away. The ground floor room was expertly furnished with a modern touch, and the sitting area out back was excellent. The breakfast was truly fit for a king, with a multitude of options to choose from, including cold meats, fish, cheese, and fresh fruit juice. The owner, a Kuchen Meister, even served up a dish of pan-seared chicken fillet wrapped in cornflakes.
The hotel needs some maintenance, and the facilities could use some updating.

The view from our room was stunning and we enjoyed walking in the nearby forests. , the breakfast buffet had a good variety of options every morning, including fresh fruit and pastries.
The cleanliness of our room was not up to par and there were cobwebs in the corners. The staff was not very helpful or friendly, and seemed uninterested in our concerns.
